Meet our New Executive Chef...
Chris Fitchette is a self trained Chef. He began his culinary career under the watchful eye of his father, who is a seasoned chef. He began his career as a dishwasher and worked his way up to line cook.. Shortly after The Eagle’s Nest opened in 2001, Chris came on board as the breakfast line cook and his talent in the kitchen was quickly recognized. He was given the opportunity to develop specials and lunch menu items and serve part time as a line cook for evening dinners. He wanted to spread his wings and get a taste of the corporate restaurant business and left after two years at The Nest to work in a larger venue in the city. Once again his culinary ability was realized and over the years he moved up thru the ranks in the corporate kitchen. In 2008 , with new baby number 4 on the way, Chris wanted to be closer to home, and The Eagle’s Nest happily invited him back as Executive Chef. Today his superior culinary skills deliver superb menu items to the evening guests, and he continues to stretch his creativity, pushing the product to higher levels each week. Guests continually comment that they are surprised to find such a high quality and selection of food in such a small town. He is truly an exemplary chef.
