Louisiana is a wonderful River town, offering peacefulness and quiet, with the possible exception of the nearby train! While we are not a shopping Mecca, we do offer some interesting places to visit, such as ASL Pewter, where you may see pewter made the way it was in the 1700's. Just down the street is The Rainbow Flower Shop with a generous candle selection plus other items for the home. In the 5th block be sure to visit Kate's Attic for antiques and collectables and other things. The Studio at 7th is a fine art studio and if you ring the bell the artist will open for you. Further on 9th Street is Reflections of Missouri Gallery and it is open most days except weekends. And just west of town is a wonderful Sculpture Park that takes you on a lovely walk thru the woods to view various international sculptures. Maybe you just want to sit and watch old man river go by. Try our Riverview Park at the top of Main Street for a stellar view or go to the bottom of Georgia Street and watch river traffic float past. We'll pack you a lunch to take along!
